When the nervous system struggles to find calm
Does your body still feel on edge, even when there's nothing wrong right now? Sometimes the nervous system holds onto stress long after the moment itself has passed.
This might show up as:
Stress, depression or anxiety
An overactive, racing mind
Feeling disconnected from your body
Or it might be that:
You're living with a health condition that makes it hard to feel at home in your body.
You're struggling with PTSD or trauma, and you'd like support regulating your nervous system
Or you'd simply like to feel more focus, calm, and clarity in your day-to-day life.
How does Breath-Body-Mind work?
In each session, we combine simple breathing techniques with gentle movement to help your body and mind reconnect and communicate more easily with each other.
Alongside the breathwork, there's space for somatic coaching too - softly noticing what's happening in your body as we go, so the session isn't only about the breath, but also about you feeling more at home in your body.
Over time, this can help your nervous system find its way back to a calmer, more regulated rhythm, and support your breathing to feel more natural and easy.

Breath-Body-Mind uses short breathwork techniques alongside somatic coaching, which invites you to notice what you're feeling in the body. The main practice is coherent breath — a soft, slow breathwork technique.
It's a down-regulating practice, focused on supporting the nervous system and finding a sense of grounded calm. You'll also learn breathwork techniques you can take away and use at home.
Although sometimes emotions do come up, and are welcomed, this method is focused on stress and emotional regulation.
It can be supportive if you’re navigating stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, PTSD or CPTSD, are living with a health condition, or simply want to feel more connected to your body.
The method was developed by Dr Brown and Dr Gerber, two psychiatrists in New York who run the Breath-Body-Mind Foundation, supporting people living with the effects of trauma, including veterans and people affected by war and other disasters.
Rebirthing Breathwork uses conscious connected breathing which gently activates the nervous system to bring up anything that's held — emotions, trauma, limiting beliefs — and gives them space to be met, released and integrated.
This is a more intense style of breathwork with a longer breathing stage, that can lead to expanded states of awareness and can bring about emotional release.
It offers a deeper exploration of the body, psyche and even soul, that can help loosen the grip of limiting beliefs and old patterns, freeing up space to move differently in life.
If you're not sure which session is right for you, you’re welcome to book a free discovery call and we can talk through what might suit you best.
