A conscious connected breathwork journey through the seven chakras
This breathwork journey combines Conscious Connected Breathwork with an exploration of the seven chakras, moving through the body from root to crown.
Using breathwork, focus and music, you will connect with each chakra. As you give gentle attention to each one, the body starts to reveal what is held. One chakra could feel blocked or be holding an old emotion, another could feel open, blissful and flowing.
As you hold your awareness on each one, this gives space to listen to your body and allow any sensation or emotion to be met. You may experience a release of tension or emotion, a change in sensation, or simply a deeper awareness of what is happening within you.
The Seven Chakras
Each chakra is traditionally associated with a different area of the body and different aspects of our experience:
Root - grounding, safety, stability and belonging
Sacral - feeling, pleasure, creativity and emotional flow
Solar Plexus - confidence, motivation, agency and your sense of self
Heart - love, connection, compassion and openness
Throat - communication, self-expression and being heard
Third Eye - intuition, inner awareness and clarity
Crown - connection, openness and a sense of something beyond yourself
This breathwork journey will gradually move upwards through the body, from the grounding qualities of the root towards the more spacious qualities of the crown. We then come back into rest, giving you time to settle and integrate your experience.
The music will change as we move through each chakra, supporting the different qualities of the journey. You can allow yourself to be guided by the breath, the music and whatever you notice within yourself.
Through this journey, you can:
Explore your body and inner experience through the seven chakras
Notice where you feel open, connected or more held
Create space for emotions and sensations to move
Deepen your awareness of your body and its signals
Reconnect with yourself and experience a greater sense of space and flow
You don’t need to understand the chakras or have any previous experience with them. They simply provide a framework for exploring different parts of your body and different aspects of your experience.
The Chakra Breathwork Journey is suitable for both newcomers and those who have experienced conscious connected breathwork before. You don't need any previous knowledge of the chakras to take part.
